Hey Everyone:
Well I am teaching at a new College and it is no joke. I love teaching and it is so rewarding. This is due to the fact that not only am I able to impart a skill but I am able to be reminded and encouraged of all of the various challenges that students face on a continual basis. One student shared not having enough money to take the bus to class. Another student is balancing motherhood with her studies and the list goes on. Regular challenges of everyday lives effect my students' ability to always come to class. Their determination to surpass insurmountable challenges of financial and personal challenge motivates me to work harder to let them see how relavent education is in their future success. It is not always that easy. On one occasion as I was calling students who were not able to attend class I realized that I may have to go the extra mile. I called one last student who explained her new born baby was teething and that was the cause for her absence. I stayed with her over the phone to go over the review questions. In the end it was worth it because she passed her quiz with flying colors.
Sometimes it's not about how much educators know but what we are willing to sacrifice in order to impart. That is all for today. Be sure to tell me what you think.

Starting Over
The reality is that we all have dreams that we aspire to.
Some individuals may try to talk us out of those dreams because they consider themselves realists who can differentiate specific elements of practicality that dreamers cannot. The reality is that we must take hold of what lies beneath the surface of our souls. There is a passion and thirst for that special talent to shine and be externalized.
There are even some individuals who just give up because of all of the failures from trying so many times before. I am here to tell you to start over. There is not reason for you to give up on a heart felt desire. It will keep moving you internally until that part of you is satisfied. Begin to move forward today.
Don't try to make goals that are to grand for the the timeframe you have in mind. You may need to be more realistic. I know this from falling on my knees time and time again. Overall keep moving forward and eventually you will reach your goal.
